Genuine US Army WW1 AEF Bayonet with Scabbard Remington for M1917 Enfield Rifle


WWI US Army/USMC AEF M1917 Bayonet w/Scabbard - Marked US 1917 Remington - for US M1917 Enfield Rifle and Winchester M97 Trench Guns - Excellent Condition Up for auction is a WWI US Army/USMC M1917 Bayonet w/Leather Scabbard. The bayonet is used, see photo's for Condition.

It is marked with a Remington in a circle, US and 1917. On the other side of the blade is it marked with the US flaming bomb and an Eagle Head.

This bayonet was used with the US M1917 Enfield Rifle as well as with the Winchester M1897 Trench Gun. Later in WWII it would also be used on the other Trench Guns of that Era, such as the Winchester M12, the Stevens 520A & 620A, Ithaca M37, etc.
