British Military Genuine Used RAF Emergency Release Knife Knives

Authentic RAF MK3 emergency release knife, designed for use by aircrew to cut tangled rigging lines on a parachute, if needs be. It was later replaced with the J cutter tool. It is a sheath knife kept in place with a spring lock mechanism which grips a stud on the sheath, but is easily removed by pressing the two levers on either side of the handle.

Colour only in grey underside/blue painted handle and sheath top.
